Thank you for taking the time to send this. I have forwarded it on to our office in China. We opened an office in China a few years ago to start addressing the animal welfare issues. We are aware of these kind of practices, and the shelter we built in Beijing has helped to stop these cruel practices in Beijing. We are now trying to get animals welfare laws passed in china that would end this kind of practice all over China. Last year China proposed the first ever animal welfare legislation, which is landmark. It did not pass but we feel it will soon, a result of our good work with the government there. Changing these practices takes time and it is horrifying to see the cruelty happening while we are working so hard to change it. Have hope though.
